Engaging in Conversation Allows a Community to Grow

grow business thumb

To be engaged successfully, means to be genuinely interested in what your customer says. Due to social media, the loudest advertising no longer dominates the conversation. Conversation is now kept by engaging customers directly and the most flexible listeners help develop the conversation.

Instead of outsourcing customer service, you can now directly know what customers think, feel, and what they expect from your company by engaging them.

If you successfully build an engaged community, the community will increase your brand value by creating trust and loyalty. How well you stimulate the community will determine how much they grow and value your company.

By building a community in which people are comfortable sharing, customers will help each other out. If someone posts a question someone of the community might respond showing the close knit bond.

Ways you can engage:

  1. Respond quickly to good and bad feedback equally
  2. Be authentic and honest
  3. Ask your own questions
  4. Share stories
  5. Deliver excitement and surprises to community first
